This event aimed to create an evening to reveal the all-new Electric Macan and new 2025 Taycan to the Edmonton market. With a host of VIP guests in attendance, cocktails, canapes, and a beautiful backdrop, the cars were unveiled and admired!

We were tasked to work with the L'OCA Quality Market, PYRO, and ORO restaurant teams to open their flagship location in Sherwood Park. With one chance to make a first impression, the opening of the first L’OCA concept was integral to introducing the brand to the marketplace.

With a media strategy that included product drops, media kits and a preview night - complete with a drone show, followed by a public grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony, the event created a splash!

The annual fantasy hockey draft event that Epic Investment Services held for the Edmonton Commercial Real Estate professionals once again provided an evening of fun, laughter and prizes. With fantastic event hosts, former NHL hockey players -and Edmonton Oilers Alum - Jason Strudwick and Ladislav Smid, this client appreciation event served the fun!

Voilà, Chérot!

In September 2023 we were honoured to help The Rohit Group open up the one-of-a-kind Paris playground in their newest community of Chérot in St. Albert. The playground opening is the first feature being unveiled in the community, with the official grand opening and show home parade slated for early 2024. Over 1000 people RSVP’d to the event. With food trucks, games, music and children’s activities galore, plus sunny skies, the day it was a complete success.

To mark the grand opening of Southtown Hyundai and Genesis South Edmonton, an event was be created to showcase both brands and celebrate with clients, staff and stakeholders. The two events were created and run almost simultanesously, with a seperate experiance reated for each brand. Each event had its own identity and guest list. Once inside could move between the two events through the connected interior space, but the initial invitation and marketing was targeted to each brand's clientele. The agneda was created to allow key stakeholders a chance to greet customers and attend an official program for both brands.

The Cut combined entrepreneurs, real estate developers, innovators and for a wild contest that culminated with a final one night theatre event presentation, where a panel of judges decided the fate of one business to be awarded a $100,000 grand prize. This event combined marketing, promotions, script writing and producing a down to the second timed live event production.

Teknion’s Edmonton showroom went through a transformation. Once complete, they wanted to show it off to their stakeholders with an open house, with two nights dedicated to host everyone.

Jaguar Land Rover Edmonton customers were invited for an evening to celebrate the holiday season, view the limited-edition luxury of the Bespoke Range Rover Arete, and gain holiday fashion inspiration from our event partners, Henry Singer and Shades of Grey.

The exquisitely crafted Range Rover SV Arete Edition debuted in Edmonton for one night at an exclusive, invitation-only event.

The event aimed to host commercial real estate brokers for a lunchtime event to show off the newly developed tenant lounge in The MNP Tower in downtown Edmonton. The event focused on bringing the brokers in to view the space, network, and create a fun atmosphere to lock the space into their memories! The event was an open house, with lunch, games and prizes utilizing the lounge features.

Playing off the outdoor space theme of the lounge, the guests participated in some quick challenges to win them some great prizes - including the golf simulator and yard games. We created a buzz by infusing playful outdoor themes throughout the event, from invitation to execution, to increase interest in attending and a fun vibe upon arrival. The event had a central socializing area for networking and refreshments and stations set up for games. Guests arrived at the building and were greeted by a hostess, checked in and directed to the amenity lounge. There was signage throughout the space discussing the space highlights and benefits of being an Aspen Properties tenant.

We planned a celebration for Rohit to officially open their new community of Cambrian in Sherwood Park with a Harvest Festival. The afternoon included three activation areas, so both horse-drawn wagons and golf carts were utilized to transport guests throughout the spaces. The event was open to the public, and while initially anticipating 300-500 guests, the event ended up attracting close to 3000 people throughout the day.

We typically stick to grand openings, launches, and bespoke client events. Events which have a marketing or communications goal are the standard description. However, when one of our favourite clients asked us to bring some fun to the holiday event he booked for his team, there was no way we could resist. They had a banquet space, a menu selected, and a band. Beyond that, we had the chance to develop games, prizes, decor, logistics, and other items to enhance the evening and manage its execution. It was so much fun! This had all the spice -  from custom check-in packages for each employee to creating opportunities for managers to engage with their teams to a no-holds-barred tug-o-war!

This annual event gives the families of Go Auto front-row access to some of their biggest hockey idols! They can meet some of the Edmonton Oilers and spend time as a family skating at a private arena booking. In 2023 the staff and their families were greeted by Connor McDavid, Derek Ryan, Darnell Nurse, and Leon Draisaitl.

With Rohit Group starting its first community in Calgary, it was time for a celebration! The first significant milestone was to host the official groundbreaking event. With a guest list of project stakeholders, local dignitaries and media, the ground was turned, and the project was officially kicked off.

In February 2023, the Canderel team hosted the Commercial Real Estate Brokers in Edmonton, specializing in office leasing, for an afternoon happy hour event at their new tenant lounge. The event was the first look at the new amenity floor and a chance to announce their latest news and incentives. The event showcased the new space and created anticipation for what was coming up next.

In March 2022 Edgar Psychological hosted an evening for their team and their spouses to launch the new brand and share the vision for growth and opportunity for the company.

Objective: Gordon King, a local man who fought for his country in WWII, dedicated his time to developing sports programs around Edmonton, and who cared deeply for his city was honoured during the naming ceremony of “Gordon King Pond.” Rohit Communities wanted to organize a ceremony that would honour Mr. King and highlight his achievements over his many years of service to his country and community. 

Concept: Mr. King touched the lives of many people in Edmonton, and Rohit Communities wanted to thank Mr. King for all he has done by highlighting his achievements and generosity in a ceremony dedicated to him and naming the pond. After the formalities and speeches were given, a light luncheon was served where guests were encouraged to walk the path that surrounds the pond and read the plaques detailing the various ways Mr. King has contributed to Canada and the Edmonton community. There were also lounging areas for people to sit and chat about the developing area and the beauty of the pond itself.

Epic Investment Services hosted an annual fantasy hockey draft event for their clients. The 2022 event is captured here.

Bubbles & Big News was an event hosted by the Redstone Group and Colliers. It was the official unveiling of the renovation plans for the Canadian Western Bank Place.

Objective: To execute and plan event logistics and create media and consumer interest surrounding the holiday-fashion themed evening.

Concept: One Night Only 2019 was an exclusive night of music, drinks, and private shopping access that once again featured the immersive installation of “Escape to Fashion Wonderland”. This event was designed to celebrate the patrons of Manulife Place and give them access to incredible deals while helping them cross off items on their holiday shopping list. Holiday-inspired cocktails, a wine bar, and delicious snacks were available to guests while they explored the fine fashion that Edmonton has to offer. Local fashion icons, @CBStyled, @Northern_Style, and on-air personality, @MikeChalut, developed wish lists for attendees to take inspiration from when shopping at the incredible stores found in Manulife Place. The evening was once again an incredible success that lasted for One Night Only.

Objective: In the competitive crew of commercial real estate brokers, winning isn’t just an option… it’s THE ONLY option! Playing off of this fiery spirit was the inaugural event — Xtremely Epic. It involved a series of challenges and prizes, hosted by special guest emcee, Gene Principe.

Concept: Tug of war, an inflatable battle ring, and bouncy pony relay races forced those who would normally be competitors in the real-estate brokerage industry to team up. They had to come together to win prizes and defeat the other teams to come out on top.

Objective: Kentwod Ford and Team Ford wanted to give back to the community by partnering with the Oilers Organization and gift a lucky group of kids brand new hockey gear.

Concept: Leon Draisaitl and Kris Russel were on site to give kids the opportunity to meet some of their Edmonton hockey heroes while receiving their new gear. This event not only promoted the dealerships of Kentwood Ford and Team Ford, but inspired and gave back to young players.

Objective: The community of Woodhaven wanted to encourage its residents to explore their new neighbourhood and make the area they live in feel even more like home. The Woodhaven Fall Festival welcomed in the autumn season with themed activities and deliciously sourced local food. 

Concept: Rohit Communities wanted to welcome the residents of Woodhaven with family friendly carnival games, pony rides, and a fleet of food trucks. With three onsite photographers, families could have their portraits taken to commemorate the day and their time living in this great neighbourhood.

Objective: 40 years of successful business is an incredible milestone to celebrate. Such an achievement requires an event of equal significance, and that’s exactly what Boutique Creative carried out for Nearctic Property Group. The 40th Anniversary of Nearctic was an opportunity for the business to thank their tenants, friends, family, and others they have worked with over their many years of operation. 

Concept: Nearctic began in 1979, so to honour their past successes and celebrate their present ones, the theme of Then and Now was incorporated into every aspect of the evening. Guests entered the event space on a red carpet under an arch of foliage and flowers. Downstairs, 70’s themed food, drink, and music were there for guest to enjoy while mingling with one another. Upstairs, contemporary food and drinks were served to guests while music from the 2010’s played in the background. A large number 40 composed of succulents was the centre piece of the evening, adding extra greenery and reinforcing the reason to celebrate  that evening.

Objective: Developing relationships and creating awareness between Nissan and the residents of Spruce Grove was the ultimate goal for the grand opening event. This event was the perfect opportunity to build the foundation of a long lasting between the targeted clientele and form a prosperous community relationship.

Concept: What’s better than a party in the parking lot? A tailgate is a fun and casual way to engage the residents of Spruce Grove and further position the dealership as the go-to place to purchase an affordable and dependable truck. Nissan is a down-to-earth brand that is approachable, attainable, and family oriented. Being a sponsor of the Edmonton Eskimos, the grand opening will include a casual and fun football game, reinforcing that connection to Edmonton’s CFL team - and nothing is more CFL than a tailgate party! With BBQ, football, and fun for the whole family, this event will be the perfect foundation for Nissan to build a reputation and community relationships that will last for generations.

Objective: To educate and engage Edmonton based parents to check the safety and accuracy of their car seat instalment.

Concept: In collaboration with Kentwood Ford, the first annual Car Seat Clinic focused on educating parents on proper car seat safety. EPS and AHS were on hand to ensure that each and every car seat was safely installed. The event was already top-notch, but was brought to a new level with the help of Edmonton celebrity parents, Jason Strudwick, Lyndsey Smith (@overmystyledbody), and Kira Paran (@northern_style).

Objective: To execute a well attended client appreciation evening based on a fantasy hockey playoff draft event for Edmonton commercial real state brokers, presented by Epic Investments.  

Concept: The event was centred around the 2018-2019 NHL Playoffs. We created excitement by hand delivering boxes to each commercial realty office that contained a custom labelled beer, and an invite with all the event details.  The event was elevated due to the star power provided with celebrity MC Jason Strudwick telling stories and running the draft event.

Objective: To create a consistent brand for the local restaurant and artisanal food market, Mewley’s. This brand would translate to their products and invitations for their grand opening. The goal was to also engage local media and Edmonton influencers to solidify Mewley’s as one of Edmonton’s finest food establishments.

Concept: Boutique Events was engaged to create a brand that Mewley’s could translate to their products, their business, and their grand opening event. In order for the launch of Mewley’s to be as successful as it was, Boutique Events was responsible for involving traditional media outlets and local influencers in the event. This connection with media and influencers was crucial for creating buzz around Mewley’s and having the business be the number one hit on the #yegfood hashtag for the evening. Media kits were delivered prior to the event in order to get recipients talking and interested before the launch; thus, ensuring they would attend the grand openining of Edmonton’s local restaurant and artisanal food market, Mewley’s.

Objective: To give young kids on a local hockey team a chance to meet one of their heroes while reinforcing the connection between Go Auto and the Edmonton Oilers.

Concept: One lucky kids’ hockey team was randomly chosen to have a pizza party with Edmonton Oiler, Milan Lucic. He was kind enough to sign autographs, hang out, and answer any questions the kids had for him. This team was surprised a second time when Gene Principe came to join the party. These kids and their families will surely remember this day for the rest of their lives thanks to Kentwood Ford and Go Auto.

Not only that, but they were given exclusive access to skate on the Community Rink at Roger’s Place! It’s events like this that show how Go Auto became of the Canada’s top employers.

Objective: Celebrate the hard work of the team at Manulife Real Estate by hosting them in the box seats of Rogers Place for Justin Timberlake’s Man Of The Woods Tour.

Concept: Manulife Real Estate treated their dedicated employees to a well deserved night off. Not only did they get to attend a fantastic concert, but the evening was filled with tastings of premium whiskey, sushi, and a custom waffle station.

Objective: To impress guests, wow them, and show them an amazing evening of celebration that delivered a unique high-end experience. The evening remained in line with the company image of care, class, and dynamism.

Concept: The outdoor patio at Craft Beer Market was transformed into a chic patio space, with a Manhattan-Rooftop vibe for the Midnight Sun Integrated Financial Summer Solstice Party. It was used to take advantage of the summer solstice - the longest day of the year, which also provided the theme for the evening. The event brand was the experience, which was successfully communicated from outset of the project. This was seen within the save-the-date and carried through at each touch point; advance marketing, on site at the event, and event follow-ups. Guests were treated like summer royalty with a custom sunglasses bar.

We had the chance to help the community of Kinglet to celebrate the opening their community gardens, with plot registrations and a social event for the families held iun the adjacent park.

Objective: To secure and manage the endorsement contract for hockey star Connor McDavid for Edmonton-based automotive powerhouse Go Auto. 

Concept: In the summer of 2016 we received a very exciting call, to negotiate the endorsement for Edmonton Oiler's player and hockey phenom Connor McDavid for Go Auto. Once secure, we were to manage the ongoing relationship. Working with Connor, his agency team, Go Auto, their marketing team, and a whole host of amazing partners we have already enjoyed a plethora of great promotions. We enjoy the chance to bring Connor closer to Edmonton fans.  Whether it is a full blown promotion like "Questions for Connor" / "Conversations with Connor", or a Go Auto Family Skate, the results of this partnership are engaging. Stay tuned for more great things with this ongoing partnership.

Objective: To brand and create an event that would help support and educate women who have gone through breast cancer treatment about their options post-mastectomy. 

Concept: Working for Covenant Health and a committee of the city’s top surgeons, in 2015 we launched an event that encompassed an educational theatre program, table top vendor displays, and a peer to peer support area. This was so successful that it has become an annual event, with 2017 marking its third concurrent year.

Objective: To plan and execute a breakfast event to bring an awareness to Edmonton Charitable organization On Site Placement. 

Concept: After many reorganizational changes On Site Placement needed assistance to plan and execute their annual event. The goal was to raise both awareness and funds through a full room of potential donors over a 90 minute breakfast session. We devoted a re-brand of the event, worked with sponsorhip execution and event logistics. After a successful first event, we were brought on board to plan and execute the breakfast the following year.

Objective: Create an event to raise awareness for brain injury, named in the honour of local Edmontonian Jesse Lucas. 

Concept:  The story of Edmonton native Jesse Lucas came to our attention, and we were moved to help with an  evening to support the raising of funds and awareness for The University of Alberta Neuroscience program. The event brought together family, friends and supporters of this cause together for night of music, conversation and healing, as they unite as one voice to push for more progress.

Objective: To create a three night industry event series that showcased the new Teknion showroom in Edmonton. 

Concept: Create a grand opening event that was duplicated for three consecutive nights to host the clients and stakeholders at Teknion’s new showroom. As a manufacturer of premier office furniture, that is modern and modular,  the event itself needed to have a sleek yet professional vibe, that made a statement from the first evening as word would travel if it was a “must attend” or “decline invite”.

Objective: Create an event to mark the groundbreaking for the Hendrix Building, and it’s follow up the McLaren. 

Concept: To mark the inaugural building for Vancouver based - Edmonton raised Edgar Developments, and then it’s follow up the McLaren, we were tasked with organizing an official ground breaking ceremony for key personnel, partners, and notable public figures.  Additionally,  with the inaugural Hendrix there was a desire to create a buzz in the media around the building and the event itself.  Not only did we manage to pull of a great event with just three weeks notice, with the proper angle pitched to the we also landed on front page news.

Objective:  Create an event to serve as a media conference and of cial opening ceremony of the new arena. Create a media strategy to communicate the historical signi cance surrounding the event.

Concept: We were very excited to be a part of the festivities surrounding the Royal Glenora Club’s Arena Grand Opening. We were brought on to plan and execute the media strategy, and consult on the overall event scope. The media conference kicked off the weekend festivities with over 75 people in attendance, including members of virtually every media outlet, celebrities including David Pelletier and Jason Strudwick, the club’s Board of Directors and many of the club’s skating families.

Objective: Create a breakfast event to raise awareness for Kids Up Front, including a media presence.

Concept: As a board member with Kids up Front Edmonton, when they needed someone to spearhead a Friendraising breakfast, we were quick to volunteer our time and company resources to pull it off. It was not a feat that could be done alone. So we tapped into some wonderful friends and business owners to pull out miracles and with no budget, work with us to create an awareness of this amazing charity. A huge thank you our event sponsors Mercer Tavern, Pinkpolka Invitations & Stationery, and Cory Christopher, without whom this event could not have succeeded. We managed to raise funds, awareness, and also grab some key media time with interviews and coverage by CTV.

Objective: To consult on the event logistics and execute media relations for start up event Flow Movement Experience. 

Concept: Flow Movement experience was a grassroots three day festival being held for the first time in Edmonton in the fall of 2017. We were  thrilled to be able to consult with the start-up team to make the first year a success and build for the future years.
